The International Data Links Society has a negotiated a hotel package with the DGI Huset Herning. Situated next to the venue, with a bridge that links the two, the DGI is a Sports Hotel allowing delegates full access to their Gym and Indoor pool. The agreed room rate is 1000 DKK per night for a standard room single occupancy room including full access to the hotels facilities, buffet breakfast, Wi-Fi and VAT.

In addition, rooms have been booked at the Scandic Hotel Regina, a short distance away from the conference venue. The agreed room rate is 1200 DKK per night for a standard room single occupancy room including buffet breakfast, Wi-Fi and VAT.

No hotel rooms will be included in the exhibitor packages or the delegate tickets.

An online booking facility will be provided by the end of February.

The hotel will review the pick up on the room allocation at 90 days and again at 45 days prior to the Symposium start date, and may release any unallocated rooms. Any rooms not allocated 30 days prior to the event will be released and will not be available at the contracted rate. After this Hotel prices are likely to increase so it is important to book early to guarantee you are charged at the agreed rate, this is due to a new clause in our contract with the Hotels which states:

“In as much as performance of Group is tied to the cumulative pick-up of rooms in Group’s block, the Hotels agree to not deter from Group’s performance by offering any rates to Group attendees that are lower or otherwise coded to any account other than the Group block. In the event rates are offered to attendees lower than the confirmed Group rate, the Hotel agrees that all rates for attendees will be adjusted to the lowest rate offered over the meeting dates. All reservations received after the cut-off date and regardless of rate, will be credited to Group’s room block, and in the event of a dispute, the Hotel agrees to match Group’s attendance list against its inhouse reservation list for the purpose of verifying if any attendee(s) was not properly credited to Group’s reservation list and room block.”
